Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on June 15 in 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Popularly referred to as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, launched in May, 2015 by Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. The artist has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis to promote a Christmas ad by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's support for her track Runaway on her blog earned the artist additional recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is the discovery of an attic piano and being fascinated with the sounds it could create. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to take up music, not for work or as hobby but to develop. To achieve this she wrote her first new compositions. Her influence comes from famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love of Bjork's style. She began performing her music in public when her mom suggested it could aid people in not to gain fame with her music but instead help the people around them understand their own importance and how they could impact the world. She began playing the piano at age six and writing music at age nine. It took until her 14th birthday when she first told her parents. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. The singer claims that she is a fan of composing songs. Music to her is the most effective way to experience everything.
